The Spring Championship of Online Poker has become one of the biggest series of tournaments in the poker industry, both online and on live venues. The Spring Championship has been underway for over a week, and many events are down, but the major event that players are looking forward to is the Main Event, a massive two day event that is providing players with one of the biggest guaranteed prize pools in all of online poker.
The Spring Championship is a series of tournaments that has been offering players a variety of tournaments. Each individual tournament also came with varying buy-ins. Each level of buy-in, the low, medium, and high, carried its own series of satellites and guaranteed prize pools. The higher the buy-in, the bigger the prizepool.
With the Main Event right around the corner, players are looking forward to some of the biggest prize pools in the event. The Main Event carries a low buy-in of $100+$9, sporting a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000. The Medium level totes a $1000+$50 buy-in, and sports a larger prize pool of $3,000,000. The largest of the tournaments in the Main Event is a $10,000+$300 buy-in, which is bringing players a $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Each tournament in the main event is carrying a maximum number of entrants, though none have yet reached their cap. Over 38,000 seats remain in the low event, 17,000 left in the medium, and just over 1,900 remain in the largest.
Satellites are running around the clock to let players buy into these events for cheap, with events as low as $33+$3. PokerStars is the largest, and one of the most trusted USA poker rooms, and they are unique in offering such enormous, complex tournament events.
